This embroidered chemise is worked in cotton embroidery thread and silk ribbon on cotton fabric over a trade copy of "The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck" by Beatrix Potter. 

The embroidery design features the main characters of the story along with flowers (foxglove and primroses) that feature prominently in the illustrations.
