Leaf Bowls

These slightly wonky bowls are hand built from slabs of porcelain formed over a plaster mould. Leaves were impressed into the surface of the clay.

Leaves:       Painted fern (Athyrium niponicum)

                    Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus)

                    Norway maple (Acer platanoides)

                    Red maple (Acer rubrum)

                    Silver linden (Tilia tomentosa)

                    Sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua)

                    Green ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica)

                    Honeylocust (Gleditsia triacanthos)
