Trinity

This book is bound in a laced-in-case binding inspired by the early 20th century ‘Vellucent’ bindings of Cedric Chivers of Bath. The Bradel style case is made of two boards connected by a strip of paper, decorated with ink and then covered with Cowley's transparent vellum. The text is printed in black from hand lettering, and individually decorated by calligrapher Maryanne Grebenstein. Maryanne produced a limited edition of 20 copies, which have been bound by several bookbinders. Find out more about her work at:
