Mythological Bestiary

This is an artists' book that I wrote, illustrated, printed, and bound as part of my BFA in printmaking. It includes twelve mythological animals and an illustrated title page and colophon. 

It is bound in a laced-in non-adhesive case binding covered in silk bookcloth and lined with yuzen paper. The text is letterpress printed on Legion pergamenata parchment paper from magnesium dies and hand painted with watercolor and gold acrylic paint. The book is housed in a custom cradle box based on a design by Jeff Peachey.
